The farmhouse takes its name from the river that passes nearby. Until the first half of the 20th century, this gaggle of houses housed about twenty families and there was also a mill, inn, bar and dance hall.

To get back to the centre of the village (where you find the spa, WaterPark and restaurant) you can take a healthy walk to whet your appetite, easily passing a dirt track and then through a pedestrian subway that leads directly to the Palazzo del Calanco.
